Just saw a dream. Not once. Twice. I saw it last night first. Now, again. And I'm awake. I saw myself all grown up. In a handloom saree, with a kid in my hand. He was... merely four or five. I was standing on Chowrasta's more, waiting for someone. My ex, jojo passes by me with his wife and daughter, taunting me (or my condition, although I looked fine). Then comes the man with a black Jaguar car. Yes, my hero. I get in without saying anything, my kid sits on my lap and my hero, who's actually my husband, drives the car. My ex's jaw is on the ground and I saw it. The man who's driving the car, my husband seems a bit grumpy. That's alright, he's exactly my type. Grumpy, tall, romantic (as we're going to a great place), loyal and a family guy. He was definitely rich, judging by our Jaguar, my expensive handprinted saree and our kid's well behaved nature, and his slight arrogance ofcourse. And he was attractive. He had greenish - blue eyes, a godly face card, and he had clean trimmed brown beard (10/10 my type, could never bag him with my bad flirting skills and my ghosting. I was pretty sure my marriage was arranged with him). Our kid praises his dad's driving skills, and my husband grins. I kiss his cheek twice, wanting to make him blush. And he did. I lowered my face, smelling citrus and spice cologne, and actually skin which felt familiar (idk how it happened, although it was a dream). He did broke his stern facade though. Then we pick up my mom (my dad wasn't there). She called my brother to join in, but my brother was busy. Anyway, I didn't realise where we're going. But then I ask him if he booked the resort. He said yes, and he took our identity proofs too. I smiled internally, knowing I actually got a 10/10 my type. Then we reached Shantiniketan. Yes, we went there to celebrate Dol (Holi). I was happy. Like, genuinely happy.
Your dream is rich in symbolism and reveals a lot about your subconscious desires, fears, and the current state of your emotional and relational life. Let's break it down:
Chowrasta is often a place of gathering and connection, symbolizing your social circles and the relationships in your life. It suggests a longing for community and engagement but also implies a sort of waiting or anticipation—waiting for connection, for acknowledgment, or perhaps for closure. The destination of Shantiniketan, a place known for its artistic significance and celebration of culture, represents a desire for joy, creativity, and festivity, aligning with your pursuit of happiness and fulfillment.
Your ex's presence is significant. The taunting behavior indicates unresolved feelings or insecurities surrounding your past relationship. It may reflect a fear of judgment or comparison, especially regarding your traditional roles or status. However, this is sharply contrasted by the strong, positive presence of your husband—your "hero." Your idealized husband embodies qualities you admire: stability, loyalty, attractiveness, and family values. This contrast indicates your subconscious efforts to reconcile past experiences with your current aspirations for a loving and supportive relationship.
The child in your dream represents a part of you that is nurturing, hopeful, and joyful. Children can symbolize new beginnings, creativity, and dreams yet to be realized. Holding the child in your lap signifies the responsibility and joy that comes with caring for your future, whether that’s through family, dreams, or personal projects. It suggests a burgeoning sense of self and the importance you place on family bonds.
The inclusion of the black Jaguar is a powerful symbol of status, success, and the luxurious lifestyle that might appeal to you. It signifies aspirations for success and the acknowledgment of your worth. It may also represent your subconscious desires for security and abundance, both materially and emotionally.
Your genuine happiness and contentment in the dream highlight your deep desire for fulfillment. The kiss and the intimate moment with your husband signal trust and affection, suggesting that emotional connection and intimacy are paramount for you. The sense of joy you felt while preparing for a celebration indicates that you’re ready to embrace happiness and the festivities of life.
Overall, your dream reflects a beautiful tapestry of your current feelings towards love, familial bonds, societal expectations, and personal aspirations. It suggests a journey from the remnants of a past relationship towards the hopeful embrace of your future. The dream could be encouraging you to focus on nurturing your relationships, celebrating your accomplishments, and embracing the joy that comes with your current life choices.
Perhaps it’s also an invitation to reflect on what you need to feel secure and fulfilled, as well as to recognize that your happiness is within reach, contingent upon embracing your desires and aspirations.
